Once we get our new hardware into production, I should have some time to test this out. I&#039;m not sure when that will actually be though. Sorry</description>

		<description>I just found your post after messing about a bit in an almost identical situation - until we get rid of that last Windows servers I need to support a (perl) utility (as SOAP server) which talks directly to MS SQL Server.

One thing that I had to mess with and you don&#039;t mention here is that it&#039;s practically impossible to do that with the x86_64 version of CentOS 5. I had to install the i386 version (thanks for Xen HVM :) to make it work.

Have you managed to get the x86_64 version to talk to MS SQL Server?
